 Are you a licensed therapist passionate about faith-based counseling and the healing power of animals? Our Christ-centered counseling office is seeking a professional, compassionate therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. Experience with equine or animal-assisted therapy is a plus, and a background in addiction counseling is a strong plus.

Position: Licensed Therapist (Contract

Location: Metamora, Illinois

Schedule: Flexible hours – part-time or full-time caseload

Compensation: Competitive per-session rate

Services Offered Include:

• Equine-assisted therapy
• Small animal-assisted therapy
• Faith-integrated counseling
• Addiction recovery support
• Trauma-informed care

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy sessions with integration of Christian faith and animal-assisted methods
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold ethical standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary, faith-driven team
• Optional: Lead or assist in addiction recovery groups or individual sessions

Requirements:

• Current licensure (LCP, LCPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, etc.)
• Experience in equine or animal-assisted therapy (certification a plus)
• Strong Christian faith and ability to integrate it into therapy
• Knowledge or experience in addiction treatment preferred
• Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to client care
